Hello friends,
A home is about so much more than aesthetics. It is a place of comfort and belonging, a reflection of the character, lifestyle, and story of the people who live there.
Yet creating a home that feels both beautiful and personal is not always as straightforward
as it seems. Over the years, I have often encountered clients who know what they like, but struggle to bring it all together. Others find themselves in the middle of a renovation project, overwhelmed by decisions and unsure of the next step.
It was through these experiences that I recognized a need for a more personal, accessible service.
For this reason, I introduced my on-site consultation service, allowing me to meet clients in the comfort of their own homes and provide practical, tailored
advice. Sometimes a client simply needs guidance during a renovation. Other times, they would like to keep their existing furniture and treasured pieces but are unsure how to refresh the space, combine old and new elements, or create a more current look without losing the home’s personality.

Every client, every home, and every story is unique. Respecting individual tastes and lifestyles is an important part of my design approach, and I believe that the best interiors are those that feel authentic to the people living in them.
So, what can clients expect from an on-site consultation?
During the consultation, I spent an hour with the client, focusing on the areas of concern and discussing their specific needs. Questions are answered, ideas are explored, and practical suggestions are shared in detail. For some clients, a comprehensive written report provides all the guidance they need to move forward confidently. Others prefer a more detailed presentation of the proposed ideas, accompanied by a quotation for products and services.

One recent project involved assisting a client who was downsizing from a large family home to a smaller rental property. Any move can be emotionally and physically demanding, particularly when it involves leaving behind a home filled with memories. By carefully planning the layout of the new home and considering each piece of furniture beforehand, we were able to simplify the process significantly. What could have been an overwhelming experience became an exciting new
chapter, and a detailed floor plan helped the client settle into her new surroundings with ease and confidence. Whether it is a renovation, a move to a new home, or simply the desire to refresh a familiar space, having a professional sound board can make all the difference. Sometimes a few practical suggestions are all that is needed to unlock the potential of a room and restore confidence in the decisions ahead.
My goal has never been to impose a particular style or trend, but rather to help clients create homes that truly reflect who they are and how they live. A well-designed home should feel welcoming, functional, and deeply personal – a place where memories are made and life unfolds comfortably.

For me, every consultation is about more than décor and furnishings. It is about listening, understanding, and helping clients see new possibilities within the spaces they already call home. And there is nothing more rewarding than watching uncertainty turn into excitement as a vision begins to take shape.

Conclusion
At the heart of every project is the desire to create a home that feels as good as it looks. A home that welcomes you at the front door, offers comfort at the end of a long day, and surrounds you with warmth, beauty and a sense of belonging. Those are often the words my clients use when describing their completed spaces, and there can be no greater reward than knowing a house has become a place they truly love coming home to.
