Hello Blog-friends, today I want to talk about environmentally conscious decor choices for our home interiors. There is a growing movement towards

You know my love for plants, and here our choice of low-maintenance plants native to the region not only adds beauty but also supports local ecosystems.
Eco-friendly materials are now readily available and offer countless benefits for both our homes and the environment. These sustainable options range from reclaimed wood, bamboo, cork, recycled glass, recycled textiles to organic textiles like hemp, linen, and cotton.
Outdoor upholstery fabrics have come a long way, and I am a firm supporter of it. Outdoor fabrics have several advantages, such as resistance to the effects of salt water and chlorine, flame-retardant, stain-resistant, has anti-fungal properties, and high light fastness against fading.
The selections in texture and colour are vast, which makes it a popular choice for indoor uses as well, such as seating options and headboards. Here are a few from Stuart Graham’s collection, The Great Outdoors, in a hint of the “Colour of the Year”, Peach Fuzz.
Not only are recycled materials environmentally friendly, but by using recycled materials for upholstery fabrics, the amount of waste is reduced that would otherwise end up in landfills.
